Nkaano: What We Used To Know

Mar 19, 2017  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Location:
Cost:  Suggested Donation of GHS 20

An evening with the Gold Coast generation.

Through oral history and family photographs, we reclaim details of our heritage from the ones who witnessed the past. A multimedia presentation of family photographs, videos and audio recordings supplied by the first generations to call themselves Ghanaian.

The aim of this project is to record for posterity the history of that period from varied personal viewpoints, and to use information from these recordings to stimulate discussion among younger Ghanaians about what lessons they learn and could apply in their generation.
The presentation on Sunday 19th March is a ticketed event to raise money for the development of an annual performance event we hope to tour for the purposes of educating young Ghanaians about their heritage and history.

Suggested donation ยข20.

In partnership with The Nana Project.
